This work describes the study of the corrosion behavior of aluminum foundry alloy (AlMg5Si) developed in laboratory conditions and the (AlSi7Mg0,3) industrial alloy. The corrosion performances of the samples, in a 3,2 wt.% NaCl solution, were evaluated and compared by electrochemical potentiodynamic polarization method, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (SIE) and cyclic voltammetry. (i)The results show: Increase in temperature leads to a reduction in polarization resistors for all samples. (ii)The AlMg5Si alloy exhibits the best corrosion resistance.
